1. Traffic Light Rating (TLR)
As part of the process, the Acquisition
Consultant acting on behalf of the Operator will decide the
Traffic Light Rating (which for avoidance of doubt is
designed to assess the level of consultation required and is
not a measure of whether a site should or should not be
progressed) and in attempt will be made to agree it with the
planning officer.

Model for Public Consultation - MOA', which can be found in
supporting documents.

LIGHT RATING MODEL FOR PUBLIC CONSULTATION |
|

|
| The Traffic Light Model must
be used to give an overall Rating for each proposed site. The Model combines elements of subjectivity and objectivity and is
intended as a guide to the degree of consultation necessary. Once the Rating has been determined then the Consultation Strategy is used to provide the options available in respect of the level of public consultation. It is important to seek LPA input into the process. The rating for each site is to reviewed at least once – in particular after pre-application consultation. |
