Introduction
On behalf of mobile phone company Vodafone,
Stappard Howes is looking for a suitable location for a new mobile phone mast in the West Horsell area. This will bring new services to local mobile phone users and is part of a programme to meet Government expectations that these new third generation services are available to at least 80% of the population by the end of 2007.
Whilst we only need one site in the area, we have looked at a range of different options, reviewed them for feasibility, and for visual impact.
Through this website, an innovative virtual reality model allows you to see each option from an infinite number of views, and includes sites we have considered but have been obliged to rule out, as well as those we are currently working on. You will also be able to look at the coverage plots (which show how a new mast will improve coverage), at any pre-application correspondence and, when lodged, the planning submission.
